Great Driver’s powerful analytics evaluate how smoothly you accelerate, brake, and corner; whether you use your phone and/or drive above the posted limits; and the time of day you drive.

You’ll earn an objective score based on your driving habits. If you earn a good score over the course of 100 days of driving, you could save up to 20% when your policy renews.
Great Driver is efficient and highly secure. Instead of using cellular data to transmit most scoring data, it stores data on your phone until it can establish encrypted connections over a Wi-Fi network. Brief trip summaries sent back to your phone may occur over Wi-Fi or cellular connections.

Great Driver uses almost no battery power when it runs in the background waiting for a trip to start. While recording trips, it uses less than 2% of your battery per hour, which is generally less than a navigation app may use. Great Driver will stop collecting data when your phone’s remaining battery power falls below 10%.

Great Driver program auto policies are not currently available in all states.
